Dawn in the forest

Tea is done and the sky is beginning to get lighter. 

It is dawn in the rainforest called Maromizaha.  A newly ‘protected’ 840 hectare of primary rainforest.  Protected is in quotes because at the time that I am writing nothing is really protected in Madagascar.

Even though I am sitting in the middle of a stunning tangled garden of primal rainforest –Positively gushing with plants, orchids, frogs, birds and lemurs –This place is not safe.
